As the Senior UX Designer, I collaborated with the product management team to manage and develop a cutting-edge futures trading platform for energy traders.

I mapped user journeys against proto-personas — identifying the trader segments, their goals and pain points — so design stayed anchored to real user needs, not assumptions about a specialised market.

Using the Google Design Sprint framework, I facilitated design-thinking workshops over 4–5 days, prioritising tasks and rapidly generating and testing ideas to focus the team on the highest-value problems.

I ran a remote ideation session using Crazy 8's sketching to help the team converge on a winning concept, then designed and built a prototype ready for testing.

I ran remote usability tests with clients, analysed the findings in Dovetail, then iterated on each feature with documentation for the dev team. The real result was alignment — by keeping the customer's voice at the centre, the sprint brought multiple stakeholders behind a single new proposition.
